Reasons You Should Leave Toxic Relationship

 Toxic Relationships

Toxic relationships are not easy to let go of. It usually takes a lot out of you and your efforts just end up being wasted. After all, not all relationships have to be like this; in fact, chances are that if you're reading this article, there is someone who is helping them ruin your life and make it hard for you to breathe. But don't worry! We're here to help with the following reasons why you should leave a toxic relationship:

- "It's too hard on your mental health." Toxic people make you feel worthless on every front - mentally, physically, spiritually, and financially. They make you feel that you are nothing. That no matter what you do, it's never enough. They ruin your self-esteem, trust, and confidence.

- "You can't fix them" There are a few things in this world that cannot be fixed. If a relationship is toxic, it means that person is in desperate need of help and support. So why should you stay? You shouldn't stay because you think this person will change for the better if only given enough time to get to know her or him properly. The fact is that they won't. Toxic people don't change, they don't grow.

- "They make you sick." From anxiety and stress disorders to depression, toxic relationships will do a number on your physical health as well. If you are experiencing extreme pain in the chest, shortness of breath, and trembling for no apparent reason, you could be suffering from the effects of a toxic relationship that's literally killing you.

- "They turn you against other people." Toxic people are master manipulators and it's not unlikely for them to get you to do their bidding by getting you to feel insecure or guilty about someone else (i.e., family members or friends). They will make you think that the one you are dating is the only person that has ever cared about you, making them appear more attractive than they actually are.

- "You can't trust them." If someone tells you she or he loves you, but then does something terrible to you, it's not a good idea to believe them. Love comes with a higher value and respect than this; it shouldn't be exploited or used without thought. Remember that no one can be trusted in a toxic relationship. And if they do anything bad, try not to take it personally. You need to know that they're emotionally and mentally ill and they don't really care about anyone else but themselves.

- "They always have one more thing to say." It's not hard to tell when someone is desperate for attention. They always have something on their mind and they feel the need to tell you about it the moment they see you. You'll end up in a constant stream of suggestions and ideas because they will become increasingly more selfish as time goes by.

- "They hurt other people." Toxic people will do whatever it takes to get what they want by hurting even the ones that love them. If you are dating a toxic person, be mindful about sharing intimate details about your life with them because chances are that if you do, they will use it against you later. They will use it to manipulate, control and hurt you.

- "They're always struggling." Ever notice how toxic people always find a way to be in the spotlight? They are the ones who organize all the parties or organizing an event. If you're dating a toxic person, you should expect to see him or her constantly out and about, networking with other people and doing all they can to impress people. But at the same time, they will often forget that they are bringing negative energy that doesn't allow anyone else to feel too comfortable around them.

- "They contradict everything you stand for." Toxic people will do anything just so they can get in your good books or gain your attention. But once they do, they will undermine your morals, beliefs, and values. This means that you should think twice before getting into a relationship with them because you don't want to go back to square one and lose everything that is special about yourself.

- "They are completely self-absorbed." Toxic people are attracted to themselves first since this is the only thing that can make them feel good about themselves. They will talk about themselves all the time, but won't give much attention to anyone else. They'll often become so selfish that people around them will avoid them as a result.

- "They don't respect boundaries. " Toxic people don't have any boundaries. They will disrespect you, your family, your friends, or anyone who you care about. It's best to avoid toxic people because they will always end up hurting the ones you love regardless of how long the relationship is.

- "You'll never be good enough." Toxic relationships are the worst and they make it impossible for anyone to feel good about themselves. The sad part is that over time, you will realize that no matter what you do in life; it's never going to be enough for that person. If somebody puts so much pressure on you, then it's time to let go and move on with your life before there is nothing left for you to give.
